I also got the results from an even bigger assessment process: one that determined my salary increase for the year. Er... I didn't do so well with THAT assessment though, because of all the over-break pings that I acquired throughout the year. And, yeah, the sheer number of quizzes and exams that I failed last year as well.
That's why I intend to make a clean record this year in this new department by being as careful as possible with the exams that I take...
Okay, okay, I keep on forgetting that you probably can't care any less about all these... boooooooooooooooooring stuff, so I decided to start a separate blog for all the non-artsy stuff that I'll be doin'. I'll be posting the link tomorrow.
("Oh wow! Another blog will be unleashed unto the world! Everyone! Gather quickly and rejoice! The worldwidespace is not yet cluttered enough, what's another blog, right? More blogs, amen!")
Oh yeah, you noticed the title, didn't you? Welcome to part 2 of what I wrote about yesterday. Well, it's not really a 2 part series, not even a 3 part, 4 part, whatever, but I just happen to see something awesome along the way and I thought I'd share it.

I've always been a great fan of typography, way even before ambigrams became fashionable since Dan Brown's Angels and Demons came out, though the book probably served as the gasoline to send the flames of enthusiasm bursting out.
I'll be posting some works that I had about this subject, but for now, lemme share a link that I chanced upon awhile ago:

This has got some awesome Iranian typography that should inspire some great middle eastern works from anyone. Just the idea of transforming letters into something visually meaningful is just fantastic.

We would be delighted if You would like to participate!
The goal with the book is to create a "portfolio" with lots of different peoples and style around the world.
To spread inspiration and give people a chance to see their pictures in print.
Please spread the word about this initiative

The person whom I posted that reply to, however, seemed to have missed my agreement, but oh well hehehe...
It's kinda sad that such a v. funny comic would get such flak, but hey, on the brightside, it's draws in awesome publicity!
